By: Graeme, March 29th, 2024 9:03 am.

We’ve entered the season of Spring, and we’ve got a lot of great new books coming out to celebrate that in April.

Depending on where you live, hopefully you’ll be able to break out the patio furniture, and get reading some of these new books in the sunshine.

This list covers new books by the most popular authors on Book Notification, and we’ll continue to do weekly posts covering new books by all authors on the site.

It’s a big month for James Patterson (and team) with three new books coming out this month. The one which has everyone excited is The Secret Lives of Booksellers and Librarians which releases on April 8th. he also has The Murder Inn on the 16th, and Private Monaco the following week.

If you’re a fan of the Urban Fantasy Guild Hunter series then great news, as the 16th full length novel in that series releases on April 23rd. This series is written by Nalini Singh, and the latest book is called “Archangel’s Lineage”.

April 9th will see the newest novel by Leigh Bardugo. This great fantasy author publishes “The Familiar” on that date. This one is on many “Most Anticipated Books of 2024” lists.

If you’re into horror, then hopefully you have been reading C.J. Tudor. If not then don’t despair; their latest horror standalone, The Gathering, comes out on April 9th and is a great entry point. Although we’d always advise starting with The Chalk Man.

We’ve also got a new Lucas and Letty Davenport novel, with Toxic Prey by John Sandford hitting bookshelves on April 9th, 2024.
