    C. S. Harris never disappoints. I know a lot of historians that cannot enjoy historical fiction because they can’t ignore all the errors. They do not appreciate it when authors take liberties with historical figures and events.

I don’t share that attitude. I can sit back and enjoy Sebastian St. Cyr’s adventures without losing my mind over the minor inaccuracies portrayed in Harris’ version of Regency England.

Even if I were to take offense to Harris’ portrayal of this time period, I don’t think I could bring myself to stop reading because Sebastian is such an intriguing character. I have enjoyed watching him grow as a person.

I am hooked on the Sebastian St. Cut series set in Regency England. Sebastian is a multifaceted character and the author explores all of them over the series. The other characters receive the same development. The stories are fascinating especially the interaction between the common man and the gentry. I savor every book although the read is fast as I can’t put them down.

I enjoy the Sebastian St. Cyr’s series. I like the period they are written in and the characters are unique. I have read them all and wait impatiently for the next one to come out. I know there are errors in placement and era but they are ‘stories’ not fact and we still get an idea of how things were at that time.
