I haven’t read every novel off of Lisa Jackson’s booklist, but the ones I have read have been difficult to put down. She never failed to deliver, with a great story, fantastic characters, and a touch of romance and drama.
A novel like The Third Grave was one I read incredibly quick, finishing in just a day. So many twists and turns that keep you guessing and turning the pages to see what happens next.
Without Mercy is a nail biting roller coaster ride about an upper crust boarding school in the Pacific Northwest that has a sinister reputation. Young students arriving at the institution for learning, and never are heard or seen again.
A New York Times bestselling author, Lisa Jackson is a go-to author when it comes to mystery and suspense stories. She is among my favorite authors of all time.
Her writing style excites me greatly, giving me goosebumps every time with one of her books. Lisa Jackson’s popularity can be realized from the fact that her books have frequently featured in various bestseller lists around the globe.
The New Orleans series created by Lisa is my all-time favorite. The central characters of Reuben Montoya and Rick Bentz are quite exciting to follow.
A big thank you for recommending Lisa Jackson’s book list. I look forward to reading many more of her books.
People typically use the term ‘Beach Read’ to refer to fluffy romance novels. But I wonder whether you can use that term in reference to mystery thrillers. For me, Lisa Jackson’s books are the perfect beach reads.
But rather than reading them, I prefer to buy the audiobooks. The narrators are incredibly captivating. It probably sounds morbid, lying on a beach in some foreign country, listening as a narrator describes a murder. But I always have a blast.
Lisa’s writing style is simple and fluid. It has a tempo that sweeps you away. Additionally, her books are page-turners. Each chapter leaves you with a desire to know more. Sometimes, I schedule vacations because I need a week off to listen to Jackson. I’m glad I found her.
Never read any of her books. Where to begin? The New Orleans series seems a good place to start.
