Welcome to the first full week of May. In this post we’ll be covering all of the new book releases from May 6th through May 12th, 2024.
The week starts off great with the latest Women’s Murder Club novel. “The 24th Hour” is out on Monday, May 6th. That great series is of course by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro.
There are a lot of John Connolly fans out there, and great news for all of you, as the 21st novel in his epic Charlie Parker series is out on Tuesday. It’s titled “The Instruments of Darkness”.
Tuesday also sees a new novel out by the legendary Mary Kay Andrews. The romance author is releasing “Summers at the Saint”, a standalone novel.
If you’re a fan of standalone thrillers, one of the masters of that genre is back! That master is of course the great Linwood Barclay. “I Will Ruin You” is out May 7th.
Esme Addison begins a new series this week. It’s called the Secret Society Mystery series, and the first novel in it comes out this week. Love that cover!

Public Reviews: Loved the book and want to write about it? You can write up a review which will show up at the bottom of the authors page. We love reading reviews and they help other readers, so reviews are much appreciated! No spoilers in the reviews though please.
Genre Tags: If you have read a book, we would appreciate you tagging what genres the book is in. It will help our book recommendation system.
Personal Tags: You can now tag any book you wish with your own tag that is only visible to you, such as if you wanted to tag that you own a book, or that you listened to it. You can see all of your tags in the "My Tags" section under "My Library".
