We end good old depressing January, and move into February.
It’s going to be a great month for books, and we already highlighted some of the best books coming out in February based on the popular authors on Book Notification.
Now we turn our attention to the last few days of January, and then the first few days of February.
The 17th full length novel in the D.I Mike Nash series is released this month, and the 18th in total.. This great series is by Bill Kitson and is well worth reading.
Of course, one book that is at the top of most peoples lists for this week will be House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas. The third novel in the Crescent City series releases on January 30th. What a great way to end the month.
Dean Koontz has a new standalone novel coming out this week. It releases on February 1st, and is called The Bad Weather Friend.
The latest book in the DCI Evan Warlow series by Rhys Dylan also releases this week.
And if you are a horror fan, the newest book by Christopher Golden is out this week. it is called The House of Last Resort.

I am blown away by the detail and constant critique of this site. At my advance age, I doubt I will ever fully utilize all the neat stuff, but what i do use is incredible. My organization has a used book sale every April, and while not as big as some, we made $70,000 last year (proceeds for scholarships in local community) and i am in a mystery book group that includes one classical (the floating admiral) and one foreign author (upfield, nesbo, etc) I feel like you and the team are friends, not a web site. Public Reviews: Loved the book and want to write about it? You can write up a review which will show up at the bottom of the authors page. We love reading reviews and they help other readers, so reviews are much appreciated! No spoilers in the reviews though please.
Genre Tags: If you have read a book, we would appreciate you tagging what genres the book is in. It will help our book recommendation system.
Personal Tags: You can now tag any book you wish with your own tag that is only visible to you, such as if you wanted to tag that you own a book, or that you listened to it. You can see all of your tags in the "My Tags" section under "My Library".
