If there is something I admire about Luanne Rice, it’s how she centers her novels on Love and family while changing the circumstances in every book. Her books are so compelling and hard to put down. Crazy in Love novel had enough suspense and drama that kept me entertained to the happy ending. It involves three generations of women grandmother, mother, and two sisters; their relationship and how they deal with the men in their lives. Firefly Beach, the debut in Hubbard’s Point series, was a beautiful story about sisters who love and care for each other. The story is tragic yet blooming with hope in the beautiful family story with intense romance and chemistry that left me engrossed. Thanks to this booklist, planning on reading more books by Luanne.
Luanne Rice is a breath of fresh air. I was trying to expand my reading horizons beyond the fantasy tomes I usually consume every month. I don’t know how I ended up at Luanne’s door.
I was planning to experiment with the science fiction genre. But then I somehow found myself on the beach with ‘Last Dance’ in my hands. It wasn’t the strongest of books.
I thought it was overwritten. Luanne included too many unnecessary details. I wasn’t impressed. But then I went to the library, borrowed two more novels, and read them within a week.
To my utter surprise, those unnecessary details won me over. I came to appreciate the way they brought the story to life in my head. I could see every scene Luanne described vividly. The author has revitalized my interest in fiction.
