It’s hard to be a horror fan and not know the name Dean Koontz. His books are well paced, entertaining, and engaging.

His imagination is rather unique and his ability to tell a story is very enjoyable, skillfully mixing in humor into his books to nice effect.

Koontz also does an incredible job of illustrating the many ways that dogs are beloved creatures and should be treated as such.

Midnight and Watchers are probably his best books, with Intensity being a pretty captivating read as well. They are books I still go back to some decades after they were released, and have read many times.

Thank you for this book list of one of my favorite authors of all time. I have been following Dean Koontz for several years and have read practically everything he had ever written.

I find Koontz to be an incredible writer that can paint brilliant pictures with words and evoke deep emotions every time he puts pen to paper.

Gentle is the Angel of Death has for a long time been my favorite Koontz work. It harks back to the topic of the angel of death that has always elicited controversy, shock and attention. Right from the time I started reading of some angel of mercy that was offing ugly people, I knew I had hit a rich vein of what would become my favorite Koontz series.

My second favorite novel in the series is probably Zero in. I have to admit that I cried tears of triumph and sadness reading it and learning that it was the last in the series.

Dean Koontz is a famous and one of my favorite suspense authors up to date.
He is known worldwide because of his tales, characters, and adventures that cut through to the center of what it means to be human.
In Odd Thomas, Koontz crafts a likable and interesting character in Odd.
Odd has what he calls psychic magnetism that gives him a fun perspective on the supernatural shenanigans happening.
The debut is a well-organized and charismatic read for everyone.
Jane Hawk Series is also a thrilling story full of twists and suspense to keep you hooked to the end.
It’s no surprise that most of Dean Koontz’s books have been adapted into movies. I loved Black River film based on the novella and Odd Thomas based on the novel.

One of the most successful and celebrated authors of mystery, thriller, and science fiction stories, Dean Koontz’s work has served as an inspiration over the years.

I admire him a lot for achieving worldwide fame and popularity.

The Jane Hawk series penned by him is quite remarkable. It features a dashing new heroine in the form of an FBI agent named Jane Hawk.

Dean Koontz’s other novel series like Moonlight Bay, Odd Thomas, Nameless: Season One, etc., are also quite popular.

The long list of books of this author includes more than 105 novels, numerous short stories, as well as novellas. His success and popularity can be measured by the fact that more than 450 million printed copies of his books have been sold worldwide.

I have been blessed to have come across this wonderful author and hope to read many more exciting books of his in the years to come.

Dean Koontz writes horror. That is probably the most surprising discovery of my year so far. Why have I always associated him with romance? I don’t get it. If I hear the name ‘Dean Koontz,’ my brain immediately jumps to romance. I can’t figure out what happened in my childhood to create that connection.

Fortunately, I now know better. Interestingly enough, I am a massive Stephen King fan, and now that I know of Koontz’s horror roots, I have suddenly noticed the thousands of threads on the internet comparing Koontz and King.

I won’t add my voice to that argument because I’m only two books into Koontz’s bibliography. I need to read at least a dozen of his novels to determine how he compares to Stephen King. But for the moment, I love the intensity Koontz injects into his stories.
