Mark Goodwin is special, at least to me. A lot of the Christian authors I encounter are always trying a little too hard to hide the Christian aspects of their stories. They actually take pride in the fact that their books are not preachy.
I don’t understand that mentality. You don’t see horror writers talking about how they don’t want to scare their readers. Goodwin knows who he is, and the stories he writes are clearly geared toward a Christian audience, which I appreciate because I don’t have to decipher the messages hidden within his words.
Goodwin is as blunt as they come. We need more authors of this nature, Christians that are not afraid to talk about their faith.
