Peter Lovesey was born on September 10th, 1936. Peter passed away April 10th, 2025 at 88 years old. Peter Lovesey was born in Whitton, Middlesex, England. Lovesey attended Reading University where he received a Bachelor of Arts.

Peter Lovesey was the author of the Peter Diamond series which consists of 22 novels. The Peter Diamond series started in 1991 with the novel The Last Detective.
