I read the first eight novels in the Cradle series in a month. Then I went back and read them again. Now that Bloodline is out, I think I’ll read the novels a third time. I know. It sounds like I’m sinking too much time and effort into the same series.
But the books are quite small. Also, they are page-turners. I would compare them to a cup of ice cream rather than a heavy meal. They don’t take long to read. Additionally, once you know how things pan out, it makes those first few books even more entertaining.
After Bloodline, I think I’ll finally give Elder Empire a read.
