If a human counts as a spirit animal, I will happily call Martha Wells my spirit animal. She produces the sort of content that touches every corner of my nerdy interests, which is why I was shocked to learn that she has won Nebula and Hugo Awards.

I don’t know how that happened. This is the same author that has contributed her incredible talents to franchises like Star Wars and Star Gate. I wouldn’t expect awards as prestigious as Hugo and Nebula to recognize an author so deeply embedded in fantasy and science fiction.

Maybe this marks a turning point. Or perhaps, the Hugo and Nebula Awards are more diverse than I realize. It isn’t like I pay any attention to them. Either way, someone should tell Martha to give us more Murderbot stories. Enough of the novellas. Give us full-length novels. These stories are too good.

Agree, more Murderbot stories! Love the SecUnit character and the narration from his perspective.
