Absolutely brilliant fantasy writer who develops characters with a tremendously realistic portrayal and builds a world with a deft style. BUT… like George Martin, he writes at a glacial pace so be prepared to reread the previous novels with every new release, as you will need to refresh your memory of the story as it progresses ever so slowly.
