Luc De Schepper

Luc De Schepper was born on May 1st, 1946. Luc passed away January 31st, 2025 at 78 years old. Luc De Schepper was born in Ghent, Belgium. De Schepper attended the International Society of Acupuncture where he received a Ph.D. degree and the British Institute of Homeopathy where he received a DI Hom diploma.

Luc De Schepper is considered to be one of the world’s foremost contemporary homeopaths and is a renowned lecturer in classical homeopathy.

He was born in Ghent, Belgium, is fluent in 4 languages, he earned his medical degree from School of Medicine, Ghent University in 1971.

In 1979, after finishing a 3 year program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Amsterdam, he became a practicing acupuncturist.

Then in 1982, he became the first MD in the US that was licensed in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After he passed the ECFMG and FLEX exams in 1984, and a one year long internship in neurology, he got licensed as an MD in the State of California and later on in New Jersey too.

He’s written books and texts on acupuncture, homeopathy, and holistic care for the public and practitioners; many of which have been translated into 5 languages.

Luc’s also the founder of the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy.

During his decades of private family practice, he treated thousands of patients ranging from old and young, and had practice in California and New Jersey. Luc also brought humanitarian help throughout the rest of the world.

With Examine Your Life Through the Carpet Weaver of the Night, it was always Luc’s goal to provide the aspiring homeopath a full education in the Art and Science of Classical Homeopathy and beyond. This book accomplishes that lofty goal.

Here is a book about the other half of humankind, unknown to Hahnemann and to most of the homeopaths around the world. The actions of the unconscious communicated by dreams.

This last work might just be the most challenging, but also the most rewarding, for the aspiring healer and homeopath and the reader. It took him several years to finish this final volume, however it’s also given him the chance to enhance the practice of homeopathy without ever sinning against any of Hahnemann’s teachings. It just might be a gift to patients and readers, old and young, and to anybody in a relationship, future or present.

The People’s Repertory is Luc’s collected wisdom, in an expert guide to homeopathy.

He’s worked as a busy homeopathic family physician, and has fielded hundreds of calls a week from his patients; about skinned knees, coughs and colds, sprained ankles, and even hurt feelings.

Through the years he’s had plenty of opportunity to see what truly will work, the safest, simplest, and gentlest but most powerful remedies for 101 common complaints.
