    The Hollow series is long. I think I read eight novels before I realized that I had at least five more to go. I am yet to read book 9. I decided to give Dawn Cook’s novels a read.

    When I learned that Harrison also wrote under the Dawn Cook pen name, I wanted to see how the Cook novels compare to the Harrison books. The differences are bigger than I expected. You can tell by simply looking at the covers. They lack that dark edge I have come to associate with Urban Fantasy.

    From the little I have read thus far, I prefer Cook over Harrison. Yes, yes, I know it’s the same person. But the Cook pen name is more immersed in fantasy than the Harrison name.

    most writers who write under multi names are like that each name has its own style and flavor to it I prefer the Harrison books abit more myself
