I don’t think Beth Wiseman can write a bad book. I keep waiting for her to drop the ball with every new release, but it never happens. Yes, some of her books are weaker than others. But they all achieve their goal, which is to tell an uplifting story about the human condition.
I had no idea Amish romance was even a genre. When a friend loaned me ‘A Season of Change,’ I expected to hate it. Like many people, I have a somewhat negative opinion of the Amish.
I couldn’t believe how inspirational this book was. This is the sort of romance you rarely see: sweet, clean, and free of the crudeness rife in the contemporary romance genre.
