I don’t know if my perception of Kiyosaki matches that of other people. The person who gave me Rich Dad Poor Dad said it was a financial guide, the kind that people use to get out of poverty. It did nothing for me. I don’t think the author included enough depth for the book to succeed as a financial guide. In fact, I don’t think Kiyosaki necessarily wanted the book to act as a ‘Get Rich Quick’ manual.
Instead, it taught me volumes about the world and where I should place my priorities. The Business of the 21st Century did the same thing. I don’t know if Kiyosaki’s advice can make me rich (Only time will tell), but I appreciate his insights regarding personal and global finances.
