GRANITE HARBOR – I’m always happy to be given an opportunity to be one of the first to read a new book that is about to be published. This book is one of the few that I enjoyed reading (I’ve read a few stinkers).
Mr. Nichols does a good job in writing to what amounts to a police procedural in my opinion. He keeps you interested enough to keep you wanting to read more. Although at first, I thought I was going need a score card to keep track of the characters mentioned in the story, but it soon evens out and the story flows.
Just a bit of warning to those who have a weak stomach. Some of the details Mr. Nichols goes into on the murders and attempted murders (spoiler alert?) may leave you a little taken back.
All in all, the book is good. Mr. Nichols has written other books that I will look into reading.
