Just began reading Lisa’s books, and quickly got hooked. Love her Wallflower Series, and I am in love with Simon and Annabelle (from Secrets of a Summer Night), and enjoyed reading their first encounter, as it just worked so well for their characters.

Someone suggested I check out Sugar Daddy, and wondered what I was getting myself into when I began reading it. The introduction is incredibly sad. I decided to stick with the book and am glad I did, as I believe it is an outstanding story and I love the book quite a lot. Always think about the scene in the elevator.

Thank you for putting together this list of books by Lisa Kleypas.

I was planning to buy my wife the next couple of books in the Wallflowers series, but I had to check to make sure I was getting the right one.

For any other husbands having this issue, it goes Summer -> Autumn -> Winter -> Spring.

Many romance authors spend years learning and practicing until they finally master their craft. I don’t know anything about Lisa Kleypas’ publishing journey. But I can unequivocally say that her gift is a natural talent.

You cannot convince me that an author can learn to tell stories like the ones Kleypas has published by joining a creative writing course. No, I don’t believe you.

The sensuality practically oozes off every word she puts on paper. I saw a review that compared her books to cocaine, and I agree. Once you open that first page, you’re done. You won’t stop reading until you reach the end, even if it means missing work, lunch, school, everything. Fortunately, most of the books on this list are short.

I’m always down to read a new romance series that draws me in, and I totally got that with the Wallflowers series from Lisa Kleypas. She’s sort of like Nora Roberts but more in the vein of historical romance, which can be a nice change from contemporary romance.

This book is great if you’re into historical pieces like Downton Abbey or Bridgerton too. The first book is also perfect for summer!

Secrets of a Summer Night revolves around the character of Annabelle, who must marry well if she is to save her family. The only problem is the guy pursuing her is Simon, someone she could not initially want less. I won’t spoil what happens but if you like historical romance, check out this book!
