Module Eagle on the
Apollo 11 mission in 1969 and was the second person to step on the moon after Neil Armstrong.
Before he became an astronaut, he flew
F86 Sabre Jets for the Air Force in Korea and even earned a

Return to Earth a memoir in which he shows how unprepared he was for instant fame which he was never prepared for. He came back from the moon and found himself a cultural hero after being a regular engineer and fighter pilot for years. He also looks into an affair that almost broke his marriage and his spiral into depression and alcoholism.
Men from Earth is a work that Buzz Aldrin published in 1989. In the book, the author tells the story of Soviet and American efforts to land on the moon using his personal experiences in the
Apollo and
Gemini missions. It also comes with insider anecdotes to humanize a story that has very often only been told in bureaucratic and technological terms.
In 1996, Buzz published
Encounter with Tiber, a fiction work that tells the story of Chris Terence. An engineering student he dreamed of one day becoming an astronaut but upon graduation the space program was a shell of what it once was. Years later, he finally gets his chance and heads to the moon where he finds evidence of the visit of an alien civilization
