Alexis Calder is a successful published author who has written several novels since she first published her debut and has not stopped, providing her readers and fans with plenty of material to love!

Alexis writes heroines that have sassy appeal and heroes that are just as sexy, with a touch of sarcasm often included in the mix.

The author loves to drink a lot of coffee, sometimes too much, and a good amount of wine. She resides in the Rockies.

Alexis has written several series of fictional novels. It started with the Academy of the Elites series of novels, which began with Untamed Magic in 2019. Then she teamed up with Dylan Chick to write the Captive Mates series of novels. Calder also wrote the Brimstone Academy series, following this up with the Bloodfire Academy series. Then she also came out with the Royal Mates series, the Moon Cursed series, the Rejected Fate series, the Royal Blood series, the Shadow Wolves series, and the Blood and Salt series.

Untamed Magic is the first book in the Academy of the Elites series of novels. If you have been searching for something new and unique to read, give this book a try!

Raven Winters is the main character in this story, and she also has a secret. In addition to being your average kid, she’s also a mage.

She summons fire one day by accident while simply trying to defend herself, and the magic cops give her two choices to pick from. The can go to a magic school that seems totally stuck up and pretentious, or she can choose to go to magic jail. The two options are not the most exciting in the entire world, but they’re intriguing enough to Raven.

The girl doesn’t exactly want to find out what it is like to sit in magic jail, and so she opts for the magic school. It’s going to require a lot of work for her to figure out what’s going on there and to get the subjects down, but that’s something that she’s just going to have to deal with as she goes along. Just like that, all of the plans that she had for herself and for the upcoming year have been in effect canceled.

Raven also finds out that she has something that is called untamed magic, and is apparently about to find out what entails for her. She knows that she’s just got one year allotted to her to go to this magic academy and get it under her control. This place is just an elite finishing school in her opinion, a place that the who’s who can send their children to compete and do well. Everyone here is rich and important, except for her, of course.

Being here ends up making Raven feel very self-conscious because at the end of the day, she simply just doesn’t belong. She’s not a rich kid, and she is not elite. She’s actually average in every way and now she’s been made into some sort of target just because she’s not as well off as the rest of them.

Raven knows that she’s the poor kid of this school, and while it’s not all that fun to deal with, it’s still something that she can live with. But when she finds out that she’s got a mating bond that has formed with one of the most eligible bachelors in the school (well, four of them, actually), she’s about to find out that surviving high school or whatever this is might just be a little bit more challenging than she originally figured that it would be.

Academy of the Elites is somewhere where the elites should be, not someone like her. Can Raven find her way in the school and with her magic and discover her place among all of these people that seem like they were born to be here? Or will this reverse harem fantasy series have the reader find that fitting in is just not as easy as it seems? Read this book to catch all of the steamy action for yourself and find out!

Broken Magic is the second book in the Academy of the Elites series of novels by Alexis Calder. If you read the first book in this series, you got to catch up with Raven and find out all about what she was doing in her new school. The series of events continue with the second installment of this series!

When it comes to magic, having untamed magic can be tough. But it’s also better than not having any magic in you at all, as Raven is about to find out. When a magic thief attacked her, her magic ended up getting broken in the process. Now she needs to recover it and get it back before the magic thief has a chance to try again.

Raven knows that she would do just about anything to have her untamed magic back, and that extends to her doing some pretty weird things. Like hanging out with an insane professor for some tutoring and spending some time with the sexy twins that happen to be billionaires, along with their mother too. It’s not the best way to go about things, but she doesn’t have any other ideas.

Then there’s the parole officer that she has to deal with. Raven finds out that if she does get her magic returned to her and uses it to alter time, that’s going to be it for her. She’ll be in big trouble if that happens. Now Raven must attempt all of this without getting her attention distracted. This could be easily accomplished by a hot incubus that wants to get to her, or a wolf shifter that is simply too attractive not to notice.

Magic school can be tough, and Raven is finding that out on a first-hand basis. Can she get her magic back and turn things back to normal? Or is this magic student about to find out that magic school is even tougher than she thought? Read the second book in this series from Alexis Calder to find out!
