Fun read. Roman empire crime mystery with a medical doctor involved as a reluctant sleuth. Crimes remain the same today….we aren’t fast learners. Enjoyed clean language and notable ancient history facts. (and am requesting book 2 in the series. )
I love to binge read a series. This was # 2 of a Roman empire crime series. The doctor continues to sleuth another murder. Multiple characters are introduced in th beginning….keep a score card! Ah yes, and his reluctance in love . Just ordered up #3 in the series.
Finished #4 in series. The man is definitely fickled. To love or not to love. To sleuth or not to sleuth. To doctor or not to doctor. To soldier or not to soldier. All of this complicated by his family financial problems back home. So back home to solve those, and a murder or two. And………so on and so forth. Off to #5.
