Garrett M. Graff was born in 1981 and is currently 45 years old.

Garrett M. Graff is best known as a TV commentator, historian, and journalist who spent more than a decade covering national security, technology, and politics.

He is the director of the technology and cybersecurity program at the Aspen Institute. Garrett is also a contributor to CNN, Longreads, and WIRED. He has also written for publications such as the New York Times and Esquire, and has edited POLITICO Magazine and The Washingtonian.

Garrett M. Graff was a founding editor of the popular blog FishbowlDC, which covers journalism and media in Washington. He also came together with a friend to found the internet strategy consulting company EchoDitto, based in Washington D.C.

While he was running FishbowlDC, he made history as the first blogger to be invited to a press briefing at the White House. This was deemed so significant that his notebook from that day is still displayed at the Washington, DC-based museum, the Newseum.

Besides his journalism and blogging, Garrett M. Graff taught technology and journalism at Georgetown University. His commentary and writing have appeared in publications such as the Washington Post, NextCity, The Wall Street Journal, and the History Channel, among many others.

In 2019, Garrett published The Only Plane in the Sky, chronicling the September 11 attacks from actual eyewitnesses.
