A son of a very prominent wrestling family, he was trained by Gory Guerrero, his father. It was in 1986 that Eddie began wrestling as he built his skills and learned a range of styles, living in Japan and Mexico. He would soon become known in the WCW for his quick moves and energy.
But even though Eddie Guerrero was highly talented, he often felt that he was not valued, and hence he went looking for other opportunities. In 2000, he joined
The Radicalz group at WWE, and it was not long before he became a very popular figure at the company.
Known as
Latino Heat, his character was smart, funny, and often tricky, and he owned it by saying “I lie, I cheat, I steal.” At the WWE, he won the Tag Team and Intercontinental Championship, among several other titles.
Outside the ring, Eddie struggled with addiction to painkillers and alcohol, and this would cause him to be released from his wrestling contract with the WWE in 2001.
However, he worked hard and made a comeback in 2002, where he would achieve even more success. In 2004, Guerrero won the much-coveted WWE championship as he reached the top of the wrestling totem pole and proved his talent and determination.
He died at the age of 38 in 2005, but is still remembered as one of the sport's most beloved and skilled performers.

Eddie explains his upbringing in a wrestling family and how hard he had to work to become a legend in professional wrestling. It was never easy as he had to deal with injuries, alcohol, and drug addiction which hurt his family and cost him his job.
At the lowest point, he never gave up, even though he felt broken. Through determination, support, and faith, he slowly turned around his life. He would make his way back to wrestling and became a champion.
It is a work that shows how a person can fall but still rise again stronger than before.
