Just found this series last February. Got hooked and read the first six in a couple of months, then have had to wait (not very patiently) for new ones to arrive. Just finished #7 on December 15th and found #8 was out already and timed right around Christmas. Started it a bit ago and am 20% done, but had to take out some time for a few things like updating reading lists. Will get back to it soon. Really enjoy how the dogs work together and how they make great use of rescues and are sure that dogs have a safe happy place to to live. the interweaving of the characters and the setting are intriguing as well.
Just finished the newest in the series – it’s only been out a week, but I was only half way through last night and then couldn’t putt down until I finished it about 2:30 this morning. Cold Scent has all kinds of backstory and intense plots – great characters (not all likable) = human and animals. Really enjoy the series,
