Doctorow can be a very hit or miss author for me, in that some of the works are incredibly technical and dense, and they are something you need to really dedicate yourself to reading. I didn’t have that problem with “The Lost Cause”! It is still FULL of information, but it was a very engaging read, and it will also be a very polarizing read for those who are on the opposite end of the social and political spectrums from the author. I recommend “The Lost Cause” for anyone interested in discussions of climate change and what drives conspiracy-nuts.
