Carl Bernstein

Carl Bernstein (Carl Milton Bernstein) was born on February 14th, 1944 and is currently 81 years old. Carl Bernstein was born in Washington, District of Colombia, USA. Bernstein attended the University of Maryland, College Park.

Carl Bernstein is famous as the journalist who made his name investigating the Watergate Scandal, which resulted in the downfall of President Nixon. Over the years, his commentary and reporting have delved deep into the inner workings of politics, government, and leaders in Washington.

He launched his career as a nineteen-year-old working for The Washington Evening Star as a copyboy. Working with Bob Woodward at the Washington Post, they broke the Watergate story as they set the standard for contemporary investigative reporting. Their story forced Nixon to retire and for their efforts, they won the Pulitzer Prize.

Carl has been writing and commentating on the abuse and use of spiritual, political, cultural, financial, and media power for years. He has also been a founder of a political website, a rock critic, and an on-air CNN contributor when he is not working for Vanity Fair Magazine, where he is a contributing editor.

In addition to reporting on politics, he has been instrumental as a critic of the journalism profession. In the mid and late 1970s, he investigated the secret relationship the American Press had with the CIA during the Cold War. This was a first in the field of journalism as such subjects have often been suppressed by the intelligence community and American press.

Carl Bernstein currently makes his home in New York, where he lives with his wife. He has two grown children one of whom is a rock musician and the other a journalist.

All the President’s Men is a work that Carl Bernstein published in 2007. The author reveals previously unpublished details of the scandal that started with a simple burglary at the headquarters of the Democratic Party. It then continues through the many headlines as the authors deliver a blow-by-blow account of one of the most infamous political scandals in the US.

Carl Bernstein published A Woman in Charge in 2007. The work draws on hundreds of interviews with friends and colleagues and provides unique insights into the workings of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The book also answers questions such as Who is Hillary Clinton? What is her political philosophy? And what should we expect from her presidency?
