I started listening to A Gentleman in Moscow a couple of times but didn’t get very far before I gave up. A couple I met raved about it and also mentioned The Lincoln Highway, so I decided to try the Moscow book again, It just didn’t click. But The Lincoln Highway grabbed my interest right away. I liked how the story unfolds and the author gradually releases more information about the characters and their backgrounds that led them to their current situations. We get to hear from each character expressing his/her point of view. It was interesting to learn a little about The Lincoln Highway, but it is not the main focus of the story. The story kept my interest throughout, but I can’t say I liked the way it ended for a couple of reasons. If the author decided to do a sequel, I would be interested. And maybe a mood will strike and I’ll give A Gentleman in Moscow another try. It is now a series on Starz. And a little search shows that The Lincoln Highway is being adapted by The Bear creator, Christopher Storer.
