Dragons: Dawn of the Dragon Racers (November 1, 2014) - Another short film which takes place three years before the sequel with a running time of 26 minutes. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (February 22, 2019) - The final movie in the trilogy, like the first two, it received fantastic reviews and several awards and nominations including five nominations for Annie Awards and a Golden Globe. Cressida Cowell's How to Train Your Dragon novels were adapted into several TV series. Here is a list in order of release date: Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon (October 14, 2010) - This is a TV short taking place before Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury with a running time of 16 mintues. DreamWorks Dragons (August 7, 2012 – February 16, 2018) - This TV series was a long running series that started on Cartoon Network and later aired on Netflix. The first season was titled Dragons: Riders of Berk, season two was titled Dragons: Defenders of Berk, and seasons three to eight were titled Dragons: Race to the Edge. This series serves as a bridge between the first and second film. How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming (December 3, 2019) - This was TV short with events that took place before the third film and had a running time of 22 minutes. Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky (September 27, 2019 – September 29, 2022) - This series only has one episode based on the original novel titled Snooping Around. The bulk of this series follows a completely new story line involving human twins that were raised by dragons.
