‘The Blue Hour’ was the first T. Jefferson Parker novel I read. I got it for free, which never leads to anything good. Books from unknown authors that I get for free tend to suck. Also, a friend who read everything Parker wrote had a lackluster opinion of the book.
They did not hate it. However, it did not live up to their expectations, not when they compared it to previous novels from the author. I was tempted to tackle this author’s bibliography from the start. But since ‘The Blue Hour’ was free, I chose to read it, and it did not disappoint, which excites me.
If ‘The Blue Hour’ is one of Parker’s weaker books, the other novels in his bibliography must be amazing.
