BAD CITY – I will say is better than I expected. I put down another book to read this one after I received it in the mail. I’m glad I did. The pace of the book never faulters. It had me interested from the beginning to the end. I rarely read “non-fiction” books. Not that I don’t like them, but there aren’t too many that hold my interest.

Author Paul Pringle did a great job presenting the story of a doctor on the wrong side of medicine. A doctor that uses the Hippocratic Oath as toilet paper. You have to feel sorry for some of the people involved. As I read about Pringle and his fellow journalists and what they went through with their editors, I couldn’t help feeling the situation was the opposite of what Watergate’s Woodward and Bernstein had with their editor (Ben Bradley).
