THE SECRET BOOK – Well, I didn’t see that coming……….
Have you ever read a book that you can’t read fast enough to get to the end to find out what happens? This is one of those books. I got this book from my daughter. This isn’t the first time I have read a book my daughter had in her book collection. Surprisingly I like it! I’m two-for-two in liking a book that she has let me read.
The book keeps you wondering. The story goes back and forth between 1939-40 and 1960. I will admit that several of the 1939-40 chapters could have been left out. But all in all, it was a good read. Kudos to my daughter for picking a good book.
Oh, by the way, do the Brits eat anything else other than boiled eggs and toast?
