Margaret Laurence (Jean Margaret Wemyss) was born on July 18th, 1926. Margaret passed away January 5th, 1987 at 60 years old. Margaret Laurence was born in Neepawa, Manitoba, Canada . Laurence attended University of Winnipeg where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

Margaret Laurence (Jean Margaret Wemyss) is probably best known for her Standalone Novels. There are currently 9 novels available. The first standalone was released in 1958 with the novel Happy Families . The most recently released novel was Christmas Birthday Story which was released in 1980.
