Kody Brown

Kody Brown was born on January 17th, 1969 and is currently 56 years old. Kody Brown was born in Lovell, Wyoming, USA.

Kody Brown is a fictional character best known as the patriarch in Sister Wives, the reality TV show on TLC. The show, which was launched in September 2010, chronicles his life as a polygamist married to Meri Brown, Janelle, Robyn, and Christine.

Brown was raised by William and Genielle, who were ardent Mormons. Given their religious affiliation, his father would also become a polygamist in the later years of his life as he got married to three wives.

Kody’s first wife was Meri, whom he got married to in 1990. When the couple agreed to have a polygamous union, Kody married Janelle in 1993, and in 1994, he got married to Christine.

Meri and Kody divorced in September 2014 so that he could marry Robyn, whom he has been dating. Even though Meri and Kody are not married anymore, they are still spiritually married. Kody and Robyn, whom he was dating at the start of Sister Wives, got married in 2014.

Kody Brown initially lived with his family in Nevada, where polygamy is legal. In 2018, he moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, a move that resulted in some tension with some members of his family. Meri, with whom he had always had a rocky relationship, hated Kody’s guts.

In late 2021, Christine announced her split from Kody while in December 2022, Janelle also said that she had been separated from him for several months. This was a few months before they celebrated being married for thirty years. Meri also confirmed in 2022 that she and Kody were no longer a couple.

Becoming Sister Wives is a work that Kody Brown published in 2012. It chronicles his special relationships with his wives as a polygamous man, including the faith and love that brought them together. The work also chronicles the pros and cons, including the emotional and practical complications of polygamy.

The work asks questions such as how does being raised in a polygamous family affect children, what are the financial, social, and emotional challenges of living the lifestyle, and what it is like to get a new wife to what was already a large family.
