Joshua Dalzelle writes military science fiction. Or, at the very least, I would personally classify his books as military science fiction. Others may disagree. Dalzelle’s books would never secure a prominent spot on any list of the best science fiction novels. I don’t think they would even appear in the top 30.
But that is fine. Dalzelle’s books are fun. Some people have criticized the Omega Force and Black Fleet novels for being too linear and predictable. But I think those people are missing the point.
These are supposed to be quick, fluffy reads. You can’t expect every sci-fi novel to replicate the depth and complexity of Dune. And if they did, the sci-fi genre would become less attractive.
Love all of Joshua’s Books they are so well written with great charecters that are Deep and Richly developed!!!
