Thanks so much for updating this list on JD Robb. She publishes a ton of Eve Dallas books, and it’s great to keep track of them and the order of the books.
It’s also great for letting me know when the next one is set to come out, as I finish the new one and immediately jones for the next one, haha.
With each book, it is great to catch up with Roarke and Eve with their fun banter and the way their relationship evolves over the course of the series. It truly is like catching up with some old friends.
JD Robb’s In Death series has been recommended to me multiple times but I never got around to reading it.
I was afraid that it would not live up to the hype and never got around to reading it. Still I acknowledged that the series had to have something special as it was going from strength to strength which was confirmed when I read Naked in Death.
Once I read that first one I have been hooked and I am glad for the nagging of all my friends that pushed me to read it. The novels are chockful of fun and adventurous characters and I have spent much of the past few months getting to know them.
The series is anchored with some sudden twists that take the stories in unexpected directions, great characters and chills to thrills that have always raised the hairs on my neck.
I have not been reading the series in order and I am glad to find this list of books as I can now read them by order of popularity.
J.D Robb is a prolific writer who does an excellent job in creating mystery stories. It’s a pen name for Nora Roberts. In Death series is a real page-turner mystery story, and a real mystery fan will love it. Eve Dallas is a strong, smart, independent and fascinating character, and I loved her. She’s a badass cop fighting for justice because of what happened to her in the past. On the other hand, Roarke is intelligent, confident, and is always determined to get what he wants. The series is incomparable and exceptional, and it’s one of the best series on my list. The plot is thrilling, and I like how most of the books in the sequel end, leaving me wanting more. I’m almost a quarter of the series, and I’m more than determined to complete it.
Every time I skim this list, I feel an incredible amount of excitement. I don’t spend that much time online, which is why I thought I had read every book Robb had ever published.
Blame my librarian. I trust them to keep me apprised of new releases. But this list has at least four times as many J.D. Robb novels as my library. So clearly, my librarian dropped the ball because most of these books came out ages ago.
But I don’t mind. 2022 will be the year of J.D. Robb. I will make short work of the author’s bibliography in the next few months.
I used the list you provided to find a couple of novellas I didn’t have. I appreciate all the work you have done to give us all information on authors that we read.
Thanks and you are welcome. I know what you mean – novellas can be tricky to track down at times
Thanks so much for this comprehensive listing of her books. And for telling me when the next book will be out. I really enjoy this series!!!
I have enjoyed reading all of the Eve Dallas books in this series. It has been great fun to watch the relationships between Eve and Rourke, and of course, Peabody develop as the series progresses.
This is one author on a very short list that I will blindly buy. And this series is one that is not the usual book that I read. I generally don’t care much for futuristic type of books. But because I liked Nora Roberts books, I started reading this series and got hooked. At least the futuristic parts are mostly believable.
I have read and enjoyed all of J.D.Robb’s “In Death” series, and most of them more than once. I have just reread Innocence In Death, one of my favorites, due to the fact that much of the book is devoted to Roarke and Eve’s relationship. Thank you!
