    Diane Saxon
Author Diane Saxon lives in the Shropshire countryside with her dark, tall, and handsome husband.
After working for numerous in a demanding job, she gave it all up when her husband told her to follow her dream. She subsequently got 12 Romance novels published in the US market before turning to her dark side with her psychological thriller novels which she published through Boldwood Books.
Diane’s never really had what she would classify as writers’ block. However she has had moments in her stories where she has mulled the scene over for a while before she has written it because it might be complicated. But a good walk with her Black Labrador and Dalmation quickly clears her head enough to the point where she is itching to write just as soon as she returns. She always takes a notepad and pen with her in case she cannot make it back home without writing something down.
“Banshee in the Library With a Dragon” is the first novel in the “Montgomery’s Sin” series and was released in 2015. Ginny, a shy and sweet librarian, has got a problem. Whenever the passion strikes, so does the wailing and weeping voices in her mind. Being half banshee, she has already run screaming away from the underworld and her female relatives, believing that love is going to find a way with faith and patience on Earth.
Trouble is, the humans just are not man enough, and every single time she shows interest in some male, she makes the guy bleed. It is going to take so much more than just one simple human being to get past her defenses.
Matthew “The Dane”, the fullback for the New York Chameleons, knows the very moment that he meets this little fireball that she is his mate. For two centuries now he and his dragon have waited for a female that is capable of setting their entire world on fire. The problem is, he does not appear to be able to keep her from going up in flames just long enough to prove that he is more than man enough for her screaming banshee.
Is Matt going to ever be able to convince Ginny that she is his mate? And is Ginny get Matt alone just long enough to allow him to appreciate her pyrotechnics?
“Under the Full Blooded Moon” is the first stand alone novel and was released in 2017. Since Stuart Caldwell lost his dad and his childhood at the age of ten to this witch’s curse, he has searched the entire world in his quest to find the key to his family’s centuries long curse.
What he discovers when he lands on the Scottish island of Breggar is a far cry from what he’d been expecting. Instead of battling it out to the death with the cruel enchantress that he believes resides there, Stuart finds that he is the one on the firing line, with the target being his heart.
“Gun Shy” is the first novel in the “Atlantic Divide” series and was released in 2018. Sheriff Jack T Swann, the subject of his grandma’s enthusiasm to marry him off, has been fighting dirty to save his own skin and has sworn women off until further notice. So the very last thing that he needs in his life at the moment is some beautiful damsel in distress. Jack, despite initial appearances, quickly finds that Kate is anything but distressed. As a matter of fact, she is much more than capable of skewering him with her kitten heel.
Doctor Kate Marsden is rather handy with a scalpel, however she is not too sure how to deal with the local sheriff, who she mistakes inadvertently for a pervert as she’s trying to report a crime. Time and time again their paths continue to cross and the attraction starts raging between them, however even though Jack’s adamant that he is not in the market for any sort of serious relationship, Kate’s certainly not interested in just a one night stand.
“Find Her Alive” is the first novel in the “DS Jenna Morgan” series and was released in 2019. Detective Sergeant Jenna Morgan is the first on the scene to investigate, after responding to reports of deadly screams in the Ironbridge Gorge.
Jenna, while the search intensifies, quickly finds that her sister Fliss’s severely injured Dalmation, named Domino, and the tortured and naked body of an unknown woman.
Where is Fliss? And is Jenna going to be able to find her sister alive before time runs out?
Readers found this novel to be addictive, gripping, and compulsive; and it has everything you could ask for: suspense, fear, murder, and deception. The characters are well rounded and Diane tells a story that is excellently paced. It’s a dark and unsettling read which is sure to keep you gripped on the edge of your seat. Diane delivers a nail biter of a psychological thriller which you won’t forget in a while. You’re sure to be up all night with this one, because you’ll want to know how everything comes out in the end.
“My Little Brother” is the second stand alone novel and was released in 2022. Two siblings, both of whom were missing for twenty years turn up within just a day of each other. One alive, and one dead.
It was just an ordinary school day, the day that Caryn lost her younger brother. One moment he was there on the roundabout, and then the next he was gone. Just gone. Missing. Everybody blamed her, since she was in charge. Even though she was just ten years old. They shipped her off. The shame, the hurt, and all those questions. The not knowing. She tried to just move on.
It has been nineteen years in exile and now someone wants her back. Somebody with a dark secret. They hold all the keys, and they know what the truth is. So, she needs to return to the Welsh village of her childhood to figure out who, since she has a secret as well. She did something pretty bad.
