Brent Butt (Brent Leroy Butt) was born on August 3rd, 1966 and is currently 58 years old. Brent Butt was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, Canada. Butt attended Sheridan College.

Brent Butt is a comedian, actor, and writer. He’s best known for playing Brent Leroy on Corner Gas, which he starred in from 2004 to 2009 and also created the series. He also created a show called Hiccups and wrote No Clue, a film released in 2013.

Brent, as he worked as a drywaller, started a publishing company with a friend, called Windwolf Graphics. Existing Earth, his comic, was nominated for an Eagle Award. They published just two issues of the comic before they ran out of money.

In February of 1988, he performed stand up for the very first time at an amateur night at a Saskatoon comedy club. Then he started performing in the Yuk Yuk’s chain in Western Canada, before he moved to Toronto in 1989, where he resided in Cabbagetown apartment with two other comedians and performed comedy at Yuk Yuk’s there.

Brent presented stand up performances for CBC Television, CTV, CBC Radio’s Definitely Not the Opera, and The Comedy Network in Canada, along with A&E in the US and Special Broadcasting Service in Australia. Brent wrote a number of prairie oriented funny and/or “folksy” songs, including “Hairy Legs” and “Nothing Rhymes Saskatchewan”.

Brent hosted a Royal Command Performance gala for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to celebrate the Canadian province’s centennial on May 19, 2005. He performed “Nothing Rhymes Saskatchewan” and also traded some jokes with Leslie Nielsen. That same year he hosted the Juno Awards.

He's oddly eager, annoyingly enthusiastic and brutally unfunny. all of which would not be all that bad, however if the brutality just ended there. By the time Rynn and Dale realize that his disturbing motivation and true talents, it might be too late, and their late tour becomes less about getting laughs and more about getting off the road alive.
