I’m Fine… and Other Lies contains some delicious stuff where she recalls humiliating debacles like breaking her shoulder as she was attempting to impress a guy, coming incredibly close to spending her life in a Guatemalan prison, and having her lacerated ear get sewn back on by a deaf guy after she lost it in a torrid love affair.
Along with hoarding mortifying situations that will make you feel far better about your choices, Whitney’s also accumulated a bunch of knowledge from psychotherapists, therapists, and psychopaths which can probably help you keep from making the same mistakes she’s made. Think of this as everything that you would want from the internet all in one convenient place, except without any of the constant distractions from online shopping, ads, and porn.
Whitney’s not sure what else to say, except that you should buy this if you want to learn how to quit being crazy and laugh.
