After coming across Steve Martini’s list of books, I chose to start with the Paul Madriani series. Since then, he has joined my must-read author’s list. He is a real master of creating courtroom drama while giving the reader the fine details to avoid getting lost on the way. It was a wild ride of legal thrillers, and I think everyone should read this series. The series features Paul Madriani, a struggling attorney who has exited a huge law firm. It was a terrific series for me, and I recommend it to anyone interested in crime thrillers. I will definitely read more work from Steve Martini.
Steve Martini is the sort of writer that pushes you to abandon other authors. That isn’t an exaggeration. Years ago, I read eight chapters of a John Grisham novel and then threw it aside because my local librarian told me that ‘Blood Flag’ was out.
To give you context, ‘Blood Flag’ is book 15 in the Paul Madriani series. To provide even more context, I don’t like every Paul Madriani book. Some are incredible. But others (I’d rather not name them) could have been better.
And yet, as a whole, the series is so captivating that each new installment excites me. Martini’s stories are simply gripping.
