Shari should write more Books. Also, she should make them longer. I think most of them are three hundred pages long or even shorter. Then again, I am yet to read all her books.
I almost missed out on Shari’s stories because people kept comparing her work to The Girl on the Train. I don’t know if the comparison applied to her entire body of work or a particular book. Either way, it put me off because I don’t want to read any more novels in that particular genre.
But whoever gave me ‘Someone We know’ and ‘The Couple Next Door (I can’t remember who) deserves a medal. My friends are always talking about books that are so good they keep you on the edge of your seat.
That had never happened to me. In fact, I thought it was an exaggeration of the reading experience until I read Shari’s books. Her scenes are so intense that you cannot help but hold your breath as you wait for the next big twist.
Even Shari’s earliest effort, Things Go Flying, kept me turning the pages. It is obvious that her work has gotten better over time. You’ll remain in the edge of your seat with her latest effort. She is definitely worth consideration.
