Joseph Fink

Joseph Fink was born on May 28th, 1975 and is currently 50 years old. Joseph Fink was born in California, USA.

Joseph Fink is a podcaster, creator, and writer who is credited with writing several novels and some popular fiction podcasts. He is the producer and co-writer of Alice Isn’t Dead and Welcome to Night Vale.

He was in his mid-twenties when he became the founder of Commonplace Book, a small publishing company. From his new venture, he published two collections of short stories which he wrote, edited, and published even while he was busy working a regular 9-5.

Fink usually works with Jeffrey Cranor, and together they co-write many of the novels in the Night Vale Universe. Nonetheless, he has also published many solo works of fiction and nonfiction.

The two authors met at the New York Neo-Futurists theater collective, which they were both involved in. In 2011, they teamed up to write a play about time travel before they began writing the pilot episode of Welcome to Night Vale.

Fink has produced a range of creative media, including live shows, novels, and podcasts. In 2012, he launched the Welcome to Night Vale podcast before expanding to live performances and books.

Joseph Fink's stories often combine the ordinary, mysterious, and strange in fictional settings, as they combine human connection, horror, mysticism, and humor.

He currently makes his home in the Hudson River Valley, where he lives with Meg Bashwiner, his wife.

In 2015, Joseph Fink published the work Welcome to Night Vale.

It is the story of two women who find themselves in a bizarre desert town where the strange is considered normal. A pawn shop owner named Jackie Fierro had a note delivered to him from a man he cannot remember. On the note are written two words, “King City”.

Meanwhile, Diane Crayton is struggling to control Joash, her shape-shifting son, and the sudden reappearance of his father, who has the same bad habits he had all those years when he went missing.

The stories of the two women come together as they try to find meaning to King City and Night Vale.

In his second novel of the Welcome to Night Vale Books titled It Devours, Fink tells the story of a scientist named Nilanjana Sikdar who lives in Night Vale.

Her boss has asked her to look into some strange rumblings in the desert, where she stumbles upon a group known as the Joyous Congregation of the Smiling God that has beliefs in conflict with science.

As she grows closer to a staunch member of the organization named Darryl, she will have to find a balance between belief and reason, even as she has to face her doubts.

He published the standalone novel Alice Isn’t Dead in 2018, in which he tells the story of a truck driver named Keisha Taylor who was convinced that Alice, his wife, was dead.

But then Alice has been making mysterious appearances in disaster scenes that make the news across the US, forcing Keisha into a nationwide search. He gets a job as a truck driver and follows clues on the highways right into a hidden world.

As he unearths strange conspiracies and dark forces, he learns that his wife’s disappearance is part of something much more dangerous and larger than he ever imagined.
