In Jeffrey Gitomer’s early years, he was known for his competitive spirit and curiosity. In college, he was a huge fan of Scrabble, and losing games taught him patience, strategy, and how to be more careful in his choice of words. These are skills that would later be fundamental in his approach to communication and sales.

He always dreamed of becoming one of the best salesmen in the world, and this has been a journey he has been on for most of his life. Along the way, he also got into training, writing, consulting, and speaking, as he shared what he had learned over the years with audiences from all over the world.

Jeffrey Gitomer has said that his purpose in life is to help others enjoy each day, build long-term connections, and help others.
