Huma Abedin (Huma Mahmood Abedin) was born on July 28th, 1975 and is currently 49 years old. Huma Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Abedin attended George Washington University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Huma Abedin is best known as the former aide to Hillary Clinton and ex-wife of former Congressman Anthony Weiner. She is the daughter of two Pakistani-born Muslims who took her to Saudi Arabia when she was two as they had been offered teaching positions there.

Abedin was brought up as a devout but modern Muslim and hence she is known for her pro-choice stance on many issues of her culture and religion. While her father died of renal failure while she was seventeen, she credits him with instilling in her the value of making her own choices.

In later years, she moved to the United States where she went to college. Given her liberal upbringing, she did not suffer too much from the culture shock even though she was a teetotaler which made her stand out from her fellow American students at college.

She began working as a White House intern even before she graduated from college. During this time, she also worked at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs as an assistant editor before she became a personal advisor and aide to Hillary Clinton during her successful run for the New York Senate.

It was while she was working with Hillary Clinton that she met and married Antony Weiner and they married when she was thirty-three. Anthony and Huma have a son named Jordan.

Huma Abedin published her memoir, Both/And, in 2021 in which she takes her readers on a journey through her life from when she was born to her move to Saudi Arabia and her time in college in the United States. She tells of her time as an intern at the White House where she was assigned to Hillary Clinton and this changed her life forever. Abedin also tells of how she met loved and married Anthony Weiner.
