    H. Rider Haggard was a prolific writer, so I’ve barely scratched the surface with what I’ve read, but he’s an incredible writer whose adventure stories are so thrilling, they’re like watching modern-day action movies. You can’t go wrong with his first Allan Quatermain book, King Solmon’s Mines, and then start branching out from there. He’s a trove of great adventures.
