Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck (Glenn Lee Beck) was born on February 10th, 1964 and is currently 60 years old. Glenn Beck was born in Everett, Washington, USA.

Glenn Beck is a conservative political commentator, entrepreneur, radio host, and television producer.

Glenn is the founder, CEO, and owner of Mercury Radio Arts, which is the parent company of TheBlaze, his radio and TV network.

In 1983, he was hired to work at KZFM, a radio station in Corpus Christi, Texas. Then in mid-1985, he was hired to be the lead DJ for WRKA’s morning drive broadcast in Louisville, Kentucky. His 4 hour weekday show was called Captain Beck and the A-Team. He had this reputation as a young up and comer. It was not political at all and included the genre’s typical off color antics: impersonations, jokes, and pranks. He left abruptly in 1987 amid this dispute with the management of the station.

He moved to Baltimore, and the city’s leading Top 40 station, WBSB, known as B104. He was partnered with Pat Gray, another morning DJ. After they got fired, the spent six months planning what they’d do next.

They got in trouble while in Connecticut after mocking a Chinese American caller who was offended by a comedy segment they had done.

The Glenn Beck Program first aired on WFLA in Tampa in 2000, and took its afternoon time slot from 18th to 1st inside of a year. It was launched on 47 stations around the country in early 2002. it then moved to Philadelphia, broadcasting from a new flagship station of WPHT.

In 2008, he won the Marconi Radio Award for Network Syndicated Personality of the Year.

In 2008, it was announced that he’d join the Fox News Channel. He hosted Glenn Beck, starting in 2009, along with a weekend edition. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was one of his first guests.

Chasing Embers is a chilling yet timely discovery: if our lives are filled with stories, then whoever controls our stories controls our lives.

In a brand new world ran by Topos, Inc., the USA just exists as a fading memory. On the path of a utopia, the pillars of culture (history, religion, art, and science) have all been decimated. The past is dead, and it was Topos that killed it.

Ember (age 16) still remembers the day that her parents got taken by Topos 7 years ago. The single possession that she still has from them is this leather notebook that has the history of the world, which is contraband that could send her right to Sleep Camp. When she’s selected to serve on Topos’ task force to reduce underage extremism, she’s got one chance to start a new life, however it might just cost her everything.

Sky, age 17, has run away to a town of savage Holdouts that refuse to live under Topos’ rule, and who may be able to tell him if his entire life’s been a lie. While the Holdouts slowly but surely win Sky over, he has to figure out what true actually means, and if the truth even matters in a world ruled by this absolute power.
