Fiona Rivers is a bestselling romance fiction novelist best known for “Harbor Falls,” a work that saw her move away from her roots.
While most people do not know it, Rivers is the pseudonym of Sandi Lynn, the New York Times bestselling author who has made a name penning romances that take you farther away from the grind of daily life and whisk you into a very different world. She published “Harbor Falls” her debut novel under the pseudonym in 2020 and the new novel has become a very popular work just like the many she usually published as Sandi Lynn.
Sandi decided to publish under the name Fiona Rivers since she intended to write a different type of romance fiction work unlike what she was writing as Sandi Lynn. Writing under her real name Sandi Lynn, she is a Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today best-selling novelist known for her romance fiction.
Whether it is second-chance romances, small-town romances, or billionaires, she evokes all manner of emotions just like she has also done under her new pseudonym Fiona Rivers. Her novels are known for evoking everything from tears to laughter, as they take you on a journey, where every page takes you closer to a happily ever after. Under her real name, she is a mother and wife and also works in a hospital lab part-time. She has said that writing is something that she has always loved ever since she was a kid and hence it is not surprising that she became a novelist. Fiona Rivers’ novel “Harbor Falls” is an amazing work of fiction, even though it is very different from what she usually writes as Sandi Lynn.
The lead in the novel is a New York curator named Adalyn Roberts who wanted nothing more than to begin a family with Darren her husband. Two years earlier, she was sixteen weeks pregnant when she suffered a miscarriage. One and a half years later she still takes pregnancy tests like clockwork but they always are negative. She was getting frustrated and on one such day, she decided to take a day off from work to deal with her emotions. As she is taking one of Darren’s old suits to put in the Goodwill basket she finds a receipt inside it. He had had a vasectomy three days following her miscarriage and this tears her to shreds.
When she confronts him, he tells her that he never wanted kids and this would be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Following their divorce, she heads to Harbor Falls for a small vacation only to fall in love with the place that she moves there. On her first night, she meets Colin Young, a handsome man who owns the bar where she had gone to eat. The two soon fall in love but since they have both been deeply hurt before they do not want to commit. On the other hand, is the town gossip Annie who lives next door to Adalyn, who cannot keep her nose out of other people’s affairs.
