Christina Lauren’s books are the very definition of fluffy literature. People usually treat that description like it’s a bad thing. But I disagree. Different novels play different roles.

Some books are designed to make you think. They will challenge everything you thought you understood about life. Others are meant to pass the time and nothing else.

I have read more Christina Lauren novels in the last two months than I can count. And if I’m being honest, I can’t remember any of them. They serve their purpose for the hours that I spend reading them. They provide an effective escape.

But once they are over, I don’t feel the need to give them a second thought. Also, Christina Lauren is incredibly funny. I don’t know if her humor is intentional. But every book she writes makes me laugh.
