A twist on a ‘Golden Age’ who-dun-it complete with rules to assist the reader. I truly enjoyed the original presentation and classic elements. The narrator [author] is witty and clever and likeable. A bit of darkness without being heavy or a downer. The reveal was who I expected but still with a twist I did not see. So a satisfying read and well worth the time.

The Ernest Cunningham series is a good one if you’re looking to get into Benjamin Stevenson.

Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone is a great novel to get into if you like a little mystery, and it helps that it has a pretty solid title to lead you in. They say not to judge a book by its cover, but the title is part of what drew me in to read this book in the first place and it went on from there.

Full of fun and a good mystery story about some people who just happen to be unlucky when it comes to death. Don’t want to give too much away, check it out if you’re interested and you’ll get the full picture for yourself!

I agree fully with Peach Tree and Richard. I’ve listened to “Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone” and “Everyone on This Train is a Suspect” and was truly entertained by both. Was also impressed with the author’s uniquely humorous literary twist. Old fashioned who-done-its along with humor is a winning combination in my (audio) book.
