A. Finnis
A. Finnis is an editor of anthologies, primarily within the horror genre. Not much is known about the editor at this time in terms of biographical information.
The first noted anthology that A. Finnis edited was "Thirteen More Tales of Horror", part of the Point Horror 13 stories. This anthology features 13 different stories from the likes of
Graham Masterton and
Diane Hoh.
Masterton's story is "JRE Ponsford," about a boy who is being bullied but then befriends the local hero with a surprising outcome.
A. Finnis would return to this series to edit "Thirteen Again", which had 13 more short stories by authors such as
Susan Price. This is one of the highest-rated anthologies by A. Finnis.
Not all of the work A. Finnis has edited is horror, however; they also edited "Wondrous Christmas Stories," a collection of Christmas-themed stories by various writers.
The anthology "The Cat-Dogs" features seven stories, including the title story "The Cat-Dogs". In that, there is a new hybrid creature which is both dog and cat. Everyone thinks that it is the ideal household pet - but then they're about to find out that it is not.
That story was written by
Susan Price and also featured stories such as "The Devil's Footprints" by
Malcolm Rose. That is one of the more notable and well-received stories within the books.
