Innocent Guilt by Remi Kone
The first novel in the Leah Hutch series. A silent, blood-soaked woman walks into a London police station with a bat, and as detectives and a rival journalist race to connect her to a nearby murder, a personal vendetta drags them into the darkest parts of their past.
Richard took a moment to mention that this one was a “wonderful story”.
The Scene of the Crime by Lynda La Plante
The first novel in Lynda’s new CSI Jessica Russell series. A brutal assault puts a ruthless barrister’s husband in a coma, and a brand-new elite forensics unit must crack what was really stolen—and fast—before a single misstep shuts them down.
Wolf Hour by Jo Nesbo
A suspended cop and a visiting “crime writer” circle the same Minneapolis serial killings, but the deeper they dig into Tomas Gomez, the clearer it becomes the real predator is hiding in plain sight.
Swept Away by Beth O'Leary
A one-night stand turns into an unforgettable slow-burn when two strangers wake up adrift on a houseboat, forced to survive together……and discover they might be exactly what the other needs.
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
A family’s fresh start in 1970s Alaska becomes a fight for survival when the winter closes in and the real danger isn’t the wilderness. It’s the husband and father unraveling inside their cabin.
